What are the labels in Rossum
Labels are designed to enhance your document organisation capabilities. Now you can tag annotations with customised labels of your choice. The tool allows you to efficiently manage your documents, distribute work among annotators, and quickly locate relevant information in your queues.
Activating the feature on your account
Labels are available in the Enterprise and Ultimate Rossum plans. If you are unsure whether this feature is included in your plan, please contact your account manager or support team support@rossum.ai.
How to create and manage labels
The ability to create and manage labels within your account is limited to users with an Admin role.
To add a new label or remove an existing one, navigate to the "Settings" section in your account. You can either tap or hover to reveal the Settings sections.
All labels associated with your account can be found in the "Labels" tab.
If you need to modify an existing label, simply click on the pencil icon, and a pop-up window will appear with further options. Same thing if you want to remove an existing label, just click on the bin icon. Please be aware that deleting a label will result in its permanent removal from the organisation, and from all the annotations connected to it.
To create a new label, click on the button on the upper right corner and a pop-up window will appear.
You can conveniently create new labels or access the settings directly from the the queue view. Additional choices become accessible when assigning labels to annotations.
Labels can also be also managed through the API.
Working with labels
Upon activation, you will notice a new column titled "Labels" in your queue view. To assign labels to specific annotations, you can select the relevant annotations and choose the appropriate tags from the provided options. It is possible to assign multiple labels to a single annotation.
Utilising the power of this feature, you can easily filter and search for specific records within your queues, enabling you to find relevant information swiftly. It is important to note that if you switch to another queue, the applied filters will remain active, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted workflow.
Limitations of the feature
While labels in Rossum offer valuable benefits, the feature has a limitation:
You have to assign labels manually as there is no automatic labelling functionality integrated at this time.
