What exactly is a queue in Rossum, and how can you manage queues and documents?
A queue is Rossum’s basic unit that helps you organize documents and manage workflow. You should create a separate Queue for every document type (such as invoices, packing lists, claims, etc.). Within a queue, you can configure custom automation settings. You can also add extensions to improve document workflows when linking up with other systems.
How to create a queue
After your first login, you will be prompted to choose the document type you want to process to create a new queue. To do so, simply select the document category you wish to have in that queue:
However, as you can see, other options are available after custom training. If you need some of those, click on it and request a demo. Our AI experts will show you how Rossum can automate your document processing for the selected document type.
Then, you need to name the queue, specify the workspace, and indicate the origin of the documents. This information is necessary to set the correct rules for the documents.
When you choose one of the regions, Rossum will automatically create your first queue. Now you can import/send documents to it.
